A Few Reminders Before Open Burning

- Call us before burning each day (963-2491) so we know you’re burning
- Don’t burn during Red Flag Warnings and high wind conditions
- Don’t burn construction materials, treated wood, trash, plastics, tires or anything else that produces toxic smoke
- Don’t burn within 25 feet of any structure
- Make sure there is a responsible person to attend the burn at all times
- Have adequate fire control equipment (shovels, water, fire pumps, etc) on site and available while burning
- If burning brush piles, keep the piles small
