Fire Station Tours & Event Requests
Come Visit Us!
We love welcoming our community to the fire station to learn more about fire safety, emergency response, and what we do at Carbondale & Rural Fire Protection District.
Whether you're interested in a fire station tour, a fire engine visit, or inviting us to a community event, we’re excited to connect with you!
A Few Things to Keep in Mind:
- Fire Station Tours take place at the Carbondale Fire Station (300 Meadowood Drive).
- Firefighters are always on duty, so we may have to leave suddenly or reschedule if an emergency occurs.
- Tours typically last 30 to 60 minutes and include a look at our fire engines, gear, and equipment. We try to tailor the tour to the age of our visitors.
- We do not host birthday parties at the fire station, but we would be happy to stop by birthday parties within the Town of Carbondale (please specify the location in your request). Groups celebrating birthdays are welcome to schedule a tour, but please do not bring gifts, food, or drinks into the station.
- We can accommodate groups of up to 20 people for a tour. Please bring one adult for every five children on the tour.
